MEDIA ACCREDITATION: KYALAMI 9 HOUR 2021
Welcome to media accreditation registration for 2021’s Kyalami 9 Hour (December 2-4).
This year’s event is subject to covid-19 restrictions (in accordance with Motorsport South Africa guidelines) that reduce the number of media permitted to attend. As such, your attendance in 2019/20 will have no bearing on this year's decision. We know this will lead to disappointment in some cases but it is an unfortunate reality of the current situation. We thank you for your understanding.
We will only use your personal information for the purposes of media accreditation, such as contacting you to confirm event details. We will also automatically add you to Intercontinental GT Challenge Powered by Pirelli’s media distribution list. If you do not wish to be added, please tell us using the 'Additional details' box below.
Notification of your submission will be automatically sent to our media team. As such it is not necessary to confirm your application separately by email. However, please contact the Intercontinental GT Challenge press officer, Tom Hornsby, if you have any questions about the media accreditation process: email@example.com.
We will confirm whether your application has been successful after the closing date.
TRACKSIDE ACCESS AND INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS
All photographers/videographers must wear a helmet (kayak/rock climbing/cycling-style helmet are authorized) and fireproof overalls when working in the pitlane.
Please note pitlane access will be limited during the event. A successful media accreditation is no guarantee that access will be granted.
International media: As per Motorsport South Africa guidelines, all international videographers and photographers must have insurance that covers extreme sports and repatriation in the event of an accident (to be uploaded as part of the application). We are unable to accredit any international videographer or photographer without proof of this cover.
Local media wishing to work trackside but without existing Motorsport South Africa insurance must apply for single-event cover (a R500 fee is applicable). Please contact Jaco Deysel for more information: firstname.lastname@example.org.
All photographers and videographers must provide proof of insurance with a minimum of R500,000 cover.
