Tickets are now available for the October 7-9 Intercontinental GT Challenge Powered by Pirelli weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. IGTC returns for the third time to the world-famous Brickyard when a global field tackles the Indianapolis 8 Hour Presented by AWS. A record 41 entries contested the 2021 event, which this year again doubles as SRO's Fanatec GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS season finale.

New for 2022, the Indianapolis 8 Hour shifts to Saturday with the endurance race kicking off at 12pm and running into the night, ending at 8pm. The new format adds a new element to the event with teams battling darkness for the first time at Indianapolis. On Sunday, the final rounds of SRO America's GT America Powered by AWS, Pirelli GT4 America, and TC America Powered by Skip Barber are due to complete the weekend.

Intercontinental GT Challenge Powered by Pirelli represents the highest echelon of long-distance GT racing. Established in 2016, the series’ purpose couldn’t be simpler: reward the manufacturer and drivers who achieve the best collective results in the world’s greatest standalone endurance events.

The 2022 IGTC season consists of four races on as many continents. The campaign kicked off in Australia with the LIQUI MOLY Bathurst 12 Hour on May 13-15. Round 2 is GT3 racing's crown jewel - the TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa protected by CrowdStrike on July 28-31. It's then on to North America for the Indianapolis 8 Hour Presented by AWS on October 7-9. The season will conclude in South Africa with the Joburg Kyalami 9 Hour on December 1-3.

Mercedes-AMG entries finished 1-2-3 in Australia, but will be challenged at Indy by leading Acura, Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, and Porsche teams.

The Audi Sport Team Sainteloc Audi R8 LMS GT3 took the overall win at Indy in 2021, with seven cars still on the lead lap after eight grueling hours.

The weekend will feature over 15 hours of world class GT and Touring Car racing action.

Tickets can be purchased online from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Discounts of up to 36% are available for advance ticket purchasers. Ticket prices start at just $20 for advance purchase Friday GA passes.  In addition to GA passes, Paddock Plus passes are available to allow greater access to the cars and stars of the IGTC.
