Hui confirms full-season IGTC Pro-Am Challenge entry

> Hong Kong racer joins Tse, Poulakis and Harrolds Volante Rosso Motorsport at Bathurst

Jonathan Hui will contest this year's IGTC Pro-Am Challenge, starting at the LIQUI MOLY Bathurst 12 Hour on February 3-5.

The Hong Kong racer joins Kevin Tse and Ross Poulakis aboard the Harrolds Volante Rosso Motorsport Mercedes-AMG in Australia before contesting other Intercontinental GT Challenge Powered by Pirelli events with different teams.

The trio, whose entry is supported by Craft-Bamboo Racing, will contest the Am class at Mount Panorama where Tse and CBR finished second overall in May.

Hui, meanwhile, is also a highly experienced long-distance sportscar driver. He won the Pro-Am Cup title in 2021's Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup driving a Ferrari, and contested the same championship with a Mercedes-AMG last season. Indeed, he and Sky Tempesta were IGTC Pro-Am Challenge class winners at Spa in July. However, this will be his first appearance at Bathurst.

The team's Bathurst line-up also features Poulakis who made an immediate impact on Australia's national racing scene in 2022 when he contested Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia with Harrolds Volante Rosso Motorsport. A highlight of the season included third outright in the three-hour Bathurst enduro last November while driving with Jordan Love.

"I have been watching the Bathurst 12 Hour race for years and have always wanted to do it; finally, my time has come!" said Hui. "I’m really looking forward to working with my team-mates Kevin and Ross, both of whom have experience at the circuit and learning from them. Mount Panorama is infamous for being one of the most challenging in the world and hence it is no surprise that many of the world’s best drivers rate it so highly.

"I am realistic with my expectations, knowing that the learning curve will be extremely steep it will be important not to take too many risks and to try to score as many points as possible. With the support of Volante Rosso combined with Craft-Bamboo Racing’s technical expertise, I am confident that we have the tools to challenge for a strong result."
