SRO’s globe-trotting GT3 series, the Intercontinental GT Challenge, will feature an unchanged calendar in 2026.
Five events on four continents – Australasia, Europe, Asia and North America – comprise a schedule that begins, as ever, at the Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour. Two 24-hour races at the Nürburgring and Spa are then followed by the Suzuka 1000km, which re-joins the championship for the first time since 2019 this September, ahead of the Indianapolis finale.
Bathurst will take place two weeks later than its traditional early February date to avoid clashing with the Asian Le Mans Series, while the ADAC Ravenol 24h Nürburgring moves back to mid-May in line with the Corpus Christi holiday.
That creates a much wider gap between the two European events, which ran on consecutive weekends this year. The world’s biggest GT race – the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa – remains on the final week of June.
Suzuka retains its mid-September date while the Indianapolis 8 Hour is a week earlier than in 2025. The latter again doubles up as the GT World Challenge America powered by AWS finale.
