Intercontinental GT Challenge Powered by Pirelli entries once again made most of the running during the Total 24 Hours of Spa’s second official session this afternoon.

Blue skies and sunshine prevailed during much of Pre-Qualifying’s hour-long session in which Nick Catsburg set a blistering time to leave Walkenhorst’s Indianapolis 8 Hour-winning BMW 0.498s clear.

The Dutchman’s 2m17.445s was sufficient to see off Felipe Fraga’s AKKA Mercedes-AMG, while Lamborghini’s best placed entry - the Silver Cup nominee entered by Barwell - finished third courtesy of Patrick Kuala.

The overall top-six featured as many different manufacturers thanks to Bentley (K-PAX Racing, Andy Soucek), Ferrari (SMP Racing, Davide Rigon) and Audi (Audi Sport Team Attempto, Fred Vervisch), while two more Intercontinental entries completed the top-eight positions.

All 56 entrants ran during pre-qualifying. An early red flag halted proceedings for several minutes when the #52 AF Corse Ferrari came to a stop at turn 15, after which there were no further interruptions.

The next track activity begins at 18.55 when the full field will tackle qualifying. This will set grid positions 21-56, while also deciding which cars progress to tomorrow evening's Super Pole. Just 1.6s covered the top-20 in Pre-Qualifying...

All of the action will air on the Total 24 Hours of Spa website, the event's official Facebook page and the GT World YouTube channel.
