+ Result: Practice 3
Former Supercars champion Will Brown has put Audi on top in Practice 3 of the 2026 Meguiar's Bathurst 12 Hour.
In the first hot session of the weekend, teams cycled through pit stop processes and driver change practice. As ever, the eye was on the stopwatch, and it was a Supercars star who set the overall pace at Mount Panorama.
Brown, aboard the #55 Jamec Racing/Team MPC Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II, nailed a 2:03.8992s in the closing minutes of the 40-minute session to go fastest.
The Brown/Brad Schumacher/Christopher Haase Audi was 0.25s quicker than the #61 Earl Bamber Motorsport Porsche of Ricardo Feller/Laurin Heinrich/Klaus Bachler.
Heinrich set the #61 Porsche's fastest time, but there was a scare across the Porsche fold for the Pro-Am High Class entry of Dane Anders Fjordbach.
Fjordbach lost control across the top of the Mountain, spinning his #86 Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) towards the wall on approach to McPhillamy. The Danish driver managed to stay away from the walls, with the #86 winding up 23rd.
The Feller/Heinrich/Bachler wasn't without issue, however, being stranded in pit lane for up to three minutes amid a series of botched driver changes.
Before Brown set the fastest time, co-driver Haase was forced to take evasive action from Maxime Martin in the #888 Mercedes-AMG Team GMR entry in the opening minutes.
Fabian Schiller, meanwhile, also fired down the Hell Corner escape road in the #6 Mercedes-AMG Team Tigani Motorsport entry.
Friday's Bathurst action will round out with Practice 4, for Bronze drivers only, at 4:40pm local time.
