+ Indy 8 Hour grid
The results of Friday’s DESDER Indianapolis 8 Hour Superpole have been amended following post-session technical checks.
The #32 GMG Porsche that qualified second, #69 Archangel McLaren, #80 Lone Star Racing Mercedes-AMG, and #21 RS1 Porsche each failed the minimum ground clearance test. All Superpole times for these four cars were subsequently invalidated.
They will now start the race in the order they finished Superpole. #32 therefore lines up seventh, #69 goes from eighth, and #80 ninth. #21 starts 10th.
These changes do not affect Turner Motorsport’s BMW, which originally took pole by 0.002s. It now shares the front row with Dollahite Racing’s Ford Mustang, while McCann Racing’s Porsche and AF Corse America’s Ferrari are promoted to third and fourth.
JMF’s Mercedes-AMGs share row three, with #34 starting ahead of #27.
